100 piece lot of used Mini Solar Cells.
Cells were tested and each generates approximately 1/2 volt. Cell part # CSUN TCE119.5x49+SD39x10 was made by CSUN.
Because I have no way to find the amperage of these cells myself, two very kind ebayers bought some of these cells, tested them, then let me know the following technical information, " closed circuit current of about 800mA and open circuit voltage of about 0.5v per cell," and, " 970ma on full sunlight with .567v." Love it when people share knowledge. Thank you!
Each cell measures approximately 4 3/4" x 2" and is a very thin and fragile crystalline wafer.
Used solar cells may show signs that they were used, such as smudging, tiny chips, writing, etc., but those signs do not effect the re-use of these cells.
Solar Cells would be great for use in classes, science experiments, creating toys, outdoor lights or battery chargers, or find new and unique ways to put them to work living off the grid.
