It is economical in the long run to buy this battery to replace a lead/acid battery. The benefits of LiFePO4 batteries over most other types, they offer about 4-6 times the service life. That in combination with the greater safely usable capacity of about 80%, as opposed to about 50% for lead/acid, makes them a more economical choice in the long run.
