1600V, 50A Stud Blocking diodes for Solar Panels and Wind Turbine Generators. It is also known as General Thyristor and Rectifier.
Blocking diode prevents battery banks from getting drained by Solar Panels and Wind Turbine that are not actively generating power (ie. Night time & No Wind) by stopping Reverse Current. Connection Overview:

Follow the picture above, connect the stud of the Blocking Diode to the Positive ( Red
) cable of your DC Sources (DC Wind Turbine OR Solar Panel). Connect the Lug from the Blocking Diode to the battery. Fuse and Heat Sink are optional but may be installed as deemed necessary. Blocking Diode Specification: Voltage 1600V Current 50A Features:
- Prevents battery banks from getting drained by Solar Panels and Wind Turbine during night time and no wind period
- Stops reverse current
- High voltage / current carrying capacity
- Copper casing to facilitate heat dissipation, great cooling capabilities

- Passive cooling is fine under 15A
