Off-Grid 3" Solar Racking SlipFitter - DIY Top of Pole Mount

This listing is for the SIZE 3" Slip-Fitter. Build your own solar racking! Can be used to build a single Top-of-Pole mounts or Multiple-Pole Racking. Anyone who has built their own solar racking know that one of the most difficult parts to find or make is the pole-top slip-fitter assembly.  We've made that step easy for you. Materials: Sleeves:        Steel DOM tube.  Laser Cut on CNC Tube Laser Top Plates:    Steel Plate.  Fiber Laser Cut Welds:           Rotary MIG Welded Vibratory Finished to remove sharp corners & edges. 4 Sizes Available to fit Standard SCH40 Pipe *U-Bolts & Set Bolts are not included. *Clamping U-Bolts are available at McMaster-Carr and many other hardware outlets. Finish: These slip-fitters ARE NOT painted or finished.  The have been coated with Rust Inhibitor that will need to be removed prior to finishing.  The Rust Inhibitor can be removed with clean water.  It is a Rust Inhibitor, not a rust-preventative.  The parts you receive could have a very light surface rust.  This is not a defect.  Surface rust is rare and unlikely, but it is possible.  You will need to finish/paint these steel parts in order to provide long-term protection.
