The Better Mounts solar panel bracket is designed to mount virtually all aluminum framed solar panels to flat or gently curved surfaces. The bracket can be used without drilling the mounting surface for a surefire leakproof installation, or can be optionally screwed and glued for extra strength as required. The bracket is made from inherently UV stable ASA plastic which outperforms ABS in outdoor applications. ASA plastic bonds well with many glues. It is recommended to test your glue on surfaces to be bonded to verify appropriate adhesion for your application. #10 or 5mm screws or bolts work well to attach the bracket to the panel.  The bracket is designed to hold the solar panel off the mounting surface by 5/8" or 16mm to provide some airflow underneath to keep the solar panel cooler and more efficient. This bracket can be used to mount solar panels to an RV or motorhome, van, powerboat, sailboat, yacht, shed, cargo container, car, truck, or most other locations that have a flat surface that can be bonded or screwed to.
